About Me

I moved to the East coast in 2008 after attending the Violin Making School of America. I was hired on at Reuning & Son Violins in their Carriage House Violins division.
When CHV moved to Newton Ma, I was made workshop Manager. It was my privilege at CHV to work with an amazingly talented sales staff and so many talented clients. I was able to hone my craft and skills every day by offering repairs, restoration and setups. While the time I spent at CHV was wonderful I found it was time to venture out on my own and establish John Dailey Violins. It is my joy in life to build new instruments and to help talented musicians with their instruments. Whether you own a Strad or just a starter instrument I will utilize my years experience to provide the best outcome for your needs.
